You all know how this works, so we’ll keep it simple. Hamann has come out with a suite of upgrades for the new BMW X5. Bimmer’s rolling cross-trainer gets some added punch underhood thanks to a reprogrammed ECU. Power bumps range from 14 to 18 horsepower on the 3.0si and 4.8i, respectively. The best results come when the Motronic in the 3.0d gets flashed. The diesel’s power jumps from 235 to 265 horses, and the 443 lb-ft of torque that go with them are likely as eye-opening as a fresh cup ‘o joe in the morning. Because it’s Hamann, a full aero kit is available, as are upgrades to the suspension and rolling stock. Full details are spelled out in the press release after the jump.
